Following Hjalmar Linna from Hietaniemi parish, Bäckesta village in Torne River Valley Sweden-Finland to Port Arthur Canada and then to Russia. He emigrated to USA in 1901 and to Sovjet-Karelia 1932, by Herbert Wirlöf.
